Overall a fun game that lets you find new options and feel clever. Then once you feel confident you can challenge yourself with different vows and challenges, changing how you play and removing options from the table, forcing you to think outside the box. Plus, since beating missions gets you more gadgets in the shop to reliably buy it actually feels like you're building yourself up with each character. This makes for a series of short- to medium-length adventures where you have to come up with new strategies based on what you have on hand. Also, it is worth to check out for updates - most of todays games have the automatic patches installation system on. It is possible that your PC just does not have enough performance and the game may not work correctly. While it can get a bit repetitive once you've found a full kit of overpowered self-charging items, the game also encourages you to retire you're old characters and start fresh fairly often. If Heat Signature often crashes to the desktop, try to reduce quality of the graphics. The variety of gadgets you can buy/find also means you're much more willing to use the available toys instead of hoarding them for later. In the original prototypes of the game, all ships had heat sensors. it has the same feeling of 'a puzzle you can solve however you want', but the more open-world design makes for a lot more replay value. Is YOUR character the suspicious heat signature that a guard with a heat sensor goes. If you liked Gunpoint, then you'll like this.
